Here’s a few more photos from my NC Photography College trip to Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago. These photos were all taken either in West Bow, or in the Grassmarket. The featured image comes from some folk at the Scottish Owl Centre, who were raising funds at the top of West Bow………….I think the owl may have been an eagle owl (not native to the UK).

This photo is posted for Lorna, these are the leaves I was talking about in the comments of one of my previous posts, Stewart’s Melville College.
The sunlight catching the tree leaves in the Grassmarket was really nice too.

I couldn’t help but include this last photo, just for the humour!!!

I really enjoyed this collection of photos. A novel way to look at smaller details and perspectives.

I’ve seen them dotted around various cities, but never stopped to take a photo of one before………………..I agree with you Roda, I think they are brilliant! 🙂

Wonderful photos, Andy, a most unusual selection of images from Edinburgh. Thank you for posting the leaves for me, the detail is superb. I love the owl photo too, that’s very striking.

Thanks Lorna 🙂 As per usual, I was trying to catch some slightly more unusual shots of Edinburgh. However, everyone took pics of the owls, they were very hard to resist! 🙂
