I took both these photos at the weekend in a small coastal town in Fife, called Burntisland. They show a very typical rooftop feature of our many Victorian houses, which in their heyday, would have been all belching out thick smoke for 6-9 months of the year. Most houses now have gas central heating, the days of coal fires are nothing but a faint memory for most people.

The rooftop features are well captured.
