Weekly Photo Challenge – Wanderlust – Penzance

St Mary's Church, Chapel Street, Penzance

Because I now live in Scotland, I get a sense of ‘wanderlust‘ on the few occasions I get the chance to return to my hometown of Penzance, in Cornwall. The above photo is of one of my favourite places in Penzance, the bottom end of Chapel Street.

  1. My wanderlust gives me a yearning to visit Scotland… maybe England and Wales too… I love the historical buildings… here in Canada, there is not much older than 150 years… and that is rare…

    1. You’ll certainly love Scotland, Maggie, especially Edinburgh!! πŸ™‚
And if you like more ancient types of structure, my home Cornwall is fantastic for standing stones, stone circles and quoits πŸ™‚
But what you miss in history in Canada, you certainly make up for in the scenery and wildlife you have over there! I’ve only had a wee quick look, but your blog looks amazing!

      1. If I ever get to visit the north American continent, it’s the west coast of Canada that really takes my fancy, the mountain ous landscape makes the Highlands of Scotland look like just wee hummocks!

    1. Margaret, if you go to the menu symbol (the three horizontal bars to the left of the title of my blog (Eye For a Pic) at the top of the home page), scroll down to the very bottom, and you’ll find the widget to follow my blog via email πŸ™‚
I hope that makes sense to you πŸ™‚

      1. You’re on the right part Margaret…………and I hadn’t noticed till now, but you need to scroll down using the blue scroll bar on the right hand side, not the normal white and grey scroll on the far right of the page. Alternatively, if you are using a mouse, use the scroll on that, by left clicking anywhere on the blue area (other than on one of the page links), and use the wheel on the mouse to scroll down to the bottom of the menu page πŸ™‚
