Thank you Margaret 🙂 It is amazing how many people don’t particularly notice the house sparrow. It reminds me of once, when I was a teenager, I showed my gran a house sparrow through a telescope. In a state of wonderment, she said how lucky were were, and how she never got exotic birds like that in her garden!! Lol! This was in Penzance, in Cornwall 🙂
A different view of a sparrow than I most often have, which is that they are pesky little critters that harass and intimidate other birds, and build nests under eaves and in attics.
But, seeing one like this, I can’t help but soften my view. Great pic!

Sparrows are one of my favs. Melbourne, Australia loves them anywhere and everywhere.
